Saxophonist & composer Jure Pukl is an artist without borders. His musical journey that started with a garage rock band in Slovenia has taken him across continents, to classical studies in Vienna and Den Haag, to Berklee College of Music in Boston and the forefront of the jazz scene in New York City. His latest album MELT – released under the synonym ANOROK – together with Peter Evans, Joe Sanders and Nasheet Waits. This genre-defying album seamlessly blends acoustic and electronic elements, featuring fearless trumpet improvisations by Evans. It is a statement on life‘s complexities, creating a captivating narrative that transcendsmusical boundaries.
